THE ALCHEMY OF AYURVEDA AND RAW FOODS
Harmonizing the Relationship of Ayurveda and Raw Foods

With Gabrielle Brick and Christine Ambrosino // Saturday October 4

The traditional practice of Ayurveda often recommends cooking foods to enhance and optimize digestion while practitioners of the raw food lifestyle propose that foods should not be heated above 118 degrees.ÊÊJoin Christine and Gabrielle for lively exploration of how we can harmonize these two worlds. While we prepare a delicious array of raw food dishes we will discuss the governing principles of Ayurveda and raw foods and explore how we can apply Ayurvedic practices to enhance our raw food experience.

We will provide basic guidelines for how each dosha can best incorporate both Ayurveda and raw foods into daily life and present potent information on the power of enzymes, how to include herbs, spices and super foods in your daily life. Please join us for this exciting and informative class to learn new ways to cultivate balance between these powerful lifestyle approaches.
